Ben Hooper, MS, ATC, LAT, CES:

A Hubbard High School graduate, he is the Head Athletic Trainer at Ennis ISD since 2012. Ben comes to us with experience from Jacksonville ISD, Lufkin Regional Physical Therapy, and Stephen F. Austin State University. He holds degrees from both SFA and Howard Payne University. His immediate family resides in Fort Worth. During his free time, he enjoys watching his beloved Texas Aggies and Green Bay Packers, and he is an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Alex Vega, MS, ATC, LAT, CES:

Alex is the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Ennis ISD. Originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, she earned her bachelors degree at University of Puerto Rico-Ponce. She came to Nacogdoches,Texas to receive her masters in Athletic Training, graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University. Alex comes to us having worked as a Head Athletic Trainer at Livingston ISD and an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Lumberton ISD. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancé and visiting her family in Puerto Rico.

Howard Moore, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon, Board Certified In Orthopedic Sports Medicine

A Dallas native, Bryan Adams H.S., Dr. Moore attended Tulane University on a football scholarship where he was a member of both the football and track team. He co-captained the "Green Wave" football team in his senior year and was a two time honorable mention Football Academic All American. He also lettered three years in track. He earned his BS degree in Engineering and was elected to Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He attended Tulane Medical School and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received his degree in 1973. He completed his internship at The University of Washington in Seattle in 1974. Dr. Moore completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1978 and was awarded a sports medicine fellowship with the Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic of Eugene, team physicians to the University of Oregon. He joined the Sports Medicine Clinic of North Texas in 1978 assisting his long time associate, J. Pat Evans, M.D. in coverage of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and served for 19 years as team physician for the Dallas Sidekicks Professional Indoor Soccer Team. He is Orthopedic director of the Dallas Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament and actively cares for soccer athletes from all levels of competition. He is orthopedic consultant to multiple North Texas high school programs including Ennis, Rockwall Heath, Rockwall H.S., Celina, Bishop Lynch, Pilot Point, Aubrey, Sunnyvale, Red Oak, Corsicana, Scurry Rosser, Palmer, Eustace, Wills Point, Edgewood, Tom Bean, Italy, Cumby, Ferris, Quinlan Ford and many more. His practice is defined by caring for athletes from all sports, major and minor, team or individual. He manages conditions of all areas of the musculoskeletal system with strong emphasis on conservative care and rehabilitation. When surgery is indicated, he specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the extremities. Dr. Moore is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is board certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine where he has served multiple terms on the Council of Delegates of that organization. Dr. Moore sees patients at 1015 N. Carroll in Dallas near Baylor Hospital (MTWF) and also at the Baylor Frisco Campus location (Thursday mornings).

Dr. Gregory Todd Moore, D.O.

Gregory Todd Moore, D.O. earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his internship at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He spent six years in Lubbock, Texas where he did his residency in orthopaedic surgery and was named chief resident and completed his fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Texas Tech Health Science Center.While in Lubbock and Ft. Worth, he conducted presentations on overuse injuries and shoulder injuries in throwing athletes for the West Texas Sports Medicine Conference and has made grand rounds presentations on a number of sports injury and topics at University of North Texas Health Science Center and in Lubbock.  Dr. Moore is the recipient of the coveted Safe Surgeon Award from the University Medical Center, as well as a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.  Dr. Moore believes strongly in patient education and takes pride in providing quality patient care. We believe that there are many treatment options and alternatives but when surgery is required there are several new surgical options that work well and we understand that surgical intervention and rehabilitation are equally integral pieces of the puzzle  .As an orthopaedic surgeon he treats patients of all ages and with all different orthopedic-related injuries. Whatever activity or sport you enjoy we can help get you back to doing what you love.  Dr. Moore is a former athlete himself and enjoys working out, running, spending time with his 2 year old daughter Mia and their three dogs. He lives in Ennis and works in both Ennis and Fort Worth.

Dr. William Davis, D.C.

Dr. William Davis has been a licensed Chiropractor since 1998.Dr. William Davis has been freeing people from pain since 2001 in his clinic in Ennis, TX. Katherine Brown, MD, FAAP

Dr. Katherine Brown (formerly Dr. Katherine Witte) has returned to her hometown of Ennis to open Ennis Pediatric and Adolescent Health Care Center, P.A. Dr. Brown completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, affiliated with the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Prior to that, she attended Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and undergraduate studies at Baylor University. Dr. Brown is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Pediatric Society. Dr. Katherine Brown lives within the local community of Ennis with her husband, Mr. Jerod Brown. She has strong ties to and interests in the community. It is a privilege for her to be able to care for the children and teenagers of Ennis and the surrounding areas.
