ABOUT US
Mission Statement:
The Ennis Sports Medicine Program provides traditional athletic training and sports medicine services to any Ennis student who falls under the "athletics umbrella" as defined by the EISD. The services provided are of four primary types: injury prevention (pre-habilitation, taping, bracing, padding, and orthotics construction), management of athletic injuries, rehabilitation, and the education of students seeking information in the medical field. We are committed to using as much service as new and old technology can render as a practical application to keeping our students educated and our athletes healthy.
The purpose of the program is three fold. First, we hope to help student athletes engage in athletics in such a manner to reduce chances of injuries. Second, should an injury occur, it is our desire to expedite the return of the athlete to play as soon and as medically safe as possible. Lastly, we hope to instill high values of health and wellness in the scope of the EISD athletic department's philosophy.
Should you have any questions regarding medical care, please contact the field house at 972-872-7373.
